Arts Sojourn on the Italian Riviera: Sestri Levante and the Cinque Terre

TRAVEL COORDINATION

Detailed travel instructions will be sent to each participant along with their confirmation documents to insure that all participants arrive and depart at times that coordinate with our charter ground transport connection. Applicants are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from their home and Galileo Galilei Airport (PSA) in Pisa, or Cristoforo Colombo airport in Genova, Italy in time to meet our charter van.

US departure should be on June 16 for next day arrival in Italy. Most airline tickets are non-refundable once issued, so it is essential that each applicant wait until they have received their confirmation and instructions before booking flights. It is also highly recommended that applicants purchase travel insurance to guard against a possible loss in case of cancellation or withdrawal from the trip for some unforeseen reason. Please refer to our cancellation policy below.

Hotel Vis a Vis is a fine four-star establishment with full modern conveniences including air conditioning, TV, private baths with hairdryers, and a heated swimming pool. Shorts and jeans are inappropriate dress at the dinner hour. Please bring suitable attire.

COST OF THE ARTS SOJOURN

Includes ground transport between hotel and airport in Pisa or Genova, Italy, 7 nights accommodations at four-star Hotel Vis a Vis sharing a standard double room, all breakfasts at hotel and all dinners, all art activities, and travel orientation - see complete details below:

ARTS SOJOURN ON THE ITALIAN RIVIERA STANDARD PRICE: $2495 - Price is per person sharing a standard double room.

SEA VIEW ROOM SUPPLEMENT: add $170 per person. ($2665) Sea view rooms are available only in doubles.

SINGLE ROOM: $2725

*A very limited number of single rooms are available on a first come basis for an additional surcharge. It is strongly suggested that you register early if you desire a single room. For those traveling alone who wish to share a double room, we will try our best to pair you with a compatible traveler of the same gender. If this is not possible you will have the option of paying the additional surcharge for a single (if available) or you may decline to participate and receive a full refund of your deposit.

THREE-BED ROOM: Three friends traveling together may share a three-bed room at a reduced rate. Please call or email us for more information.

* Please note that these prices are based on the exchange rate as of May 2012. Although no increase is anticipated, due to the current volatility in the international exchange rate Arts Sojourn reserves the right to add an appropriate surcharge to cover additional costs should the value of the US dollar drop appreciably prior to our departure.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

$350.00 non-refundable deposit due with application.
Balance must be received no later than March 15, 2013.
* It may still be possible to join the Arts Sojourn after the March deadline if space is available.

CONFIRMATION AND PRE-TRIP ORIENTATION

Confirmation and a comprehensive information letter will be emailed within two weeks of receipt of your deposit.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing. The following scale of charges will apply after cancellation notice is received:

• All deposits are non-refundable.
• Between 60 days and 30 days prior to departure there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price of the trip.
• Less than 30 days prior to departure the cancellation fee is 100% of the total price.

*We must be firm in our cancellation policy. It is highly recommended that applicants purchase travel insurance to guard against possible loss.
In the unlikely event that we must cancel an Arts Sojourn we will issue you a full refund of funds paid to us, including your deposit.

LUGGAGE

All baggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances at the risk of the participant. Each person is strictly limited to one suitcase and one carry on (art supplies included) due to the restricted luggage space on European motor coaches. Please travel light and be certain that you are capable of handling your own luggage.
