TRAVEL COORDINATION
Detailed travel instructions will be sent to each participant along with their confirmation documents to insure that all participants arrive and depart at times that coordinate with our charter bus connection. Applicants are responsible for securing their own transportation to and from their home and Galileo Galilei Airport ( PSA ) in Pisa , Italy in time to meet our charter bus. US departure should be on June 30 for next day arrival in Italy. Most airline tickets are non-refundable once issued, so it is essential that each applicant wait until they have received their confirmation and instructions before booking flights. It is also recommended that applicants purchase travel insurance to guard against a possible loss in case they must withdraw from the trip for some unforeseen reason.

Grand Hotel Portovenere is a fine establishment with full modern conveniences including air conditioning, TV, and private baths with hairdryers. Shorts and jeans are inappropriate dress at the dinner hour. Please bring suitable attire.
COST OF THE ARTS SOJOURN
Includes ground transport between hotel and airport in Pisa, Italy, seven nights hotel accommodations sharing a standard double room, all breakfasts and dinners at hotel, all art activities and instruction, and travel orientation - see complete details below:
ARTS SOJOURN ON THE ITALIAN RIVIERA : $1875.00
Price is per person sharing a double sea view room.
DOUBLE ROOM FOR SINGLE USE SUPPLEMENT: add $260. Total trip cost = $2135
*A very limited number of double rooms are available for single use on a first come basis for an additional surcharge of $260. It is strongly suggested that you register early if you desire a single room. For those traveling alone who wish to share a double room, we will try our best to pair you with a compatible traveler of the same gender. If this is not possible you will have the option of paying the additional surcharge for a single (if available) or you may decline to participate and receive a full refund of your deposit.
SEA VIEW SUITE WITH BALCONY SUPPLEMENT: add $380 per person (2) sharing suite. Total trip cost = $2255 *A very limited number of suites with balconies are available on a first come basis for an additional surcharge of $380 per person. You must already have a partner to share a suite.
* Please note that these prices are based on the exchange rate as of June, 2006. Although no increase is anticipated, due to the current volatility in the international exchange rate Arts Sojourn reserves the right to add an appropriate surcharge to cover additional costs should the value of the US dollar drop appreciably prior to our departure.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE
$350.00 non-refundable deposit due with application.
Balance must be received no later than April 1, 2007 .
* It may still be possible to join the Arts Sojourn after the April deadline if space is available.
CONFIRMATION AND PRE -TRIP ORIENTATION
Confirmation and a comprehensive information letter will be emailed within two weeks of receipt of your deposit.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS
Notice of cancellation must be made in writing. The following scale of charges will apply after cancellation notice is received:
- All deposits are non-refundable.
- Between 60 days and 30 days prior to departure there is a cancellation fee of 50% of the total price of the trip.
- Less than 30 days prior to departure the cancellation fee is 100% of the total price.
*We must be firm in our cancellation policy. It is highly recommended that applicants purchase travel insurance to guard against possible loss.
LUGGAGE
All baggage and personal effects are at all times and in all circumstances at the risk of the participant. Each person is strictly limited to one suitcase and one carry on (art supplies included) due to the restricted luggage space on European motor coaches. Please travel light and be certain that you are capable of handling your own luggage.
COLLEGE CREDIT
Three hours of college credit for the workshop may be available at additional cost to those interested. Please contact us for more information.
