Over the years our Arts Sojourns have taken us to many northern and central Italian provinces, including Tuscany, Liguria, the Veneto, Trentino, Alto Adige, Lombardia, Lazio and Umbria. We have visited famous cities such as Rome, Venice, Padova, Pisa, Siena, Florence, Verona, and Genova as well as smaller towns like Riva del Garda, Montecatini Terme, Spoleto and Sestri Levante. Our Sojourners have made countless day trips to popular destinations such as San Gimignano, and Assisi, as well as to lesser known locations such as Canale, a tiny medieval borgo that was a popular painting location on our 2001 Sojourn and the Collodi Gardens near Montecatini, a favorite spot for our 1999 Arts Sojourn painters. Our groups have varied in size from eleven to twenty two participants whose ages have ranged from nineteen to well over seventy.
